Editorial Policy
Innovations in Pedagogy and Technology (IPT) is committed to maintaining high academic standards, editorial integrity, and transparency throughout its publication process.
The journal is guided by an international editorial team comprising the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board members with expertise in education, pedagogy, educational technology, and related disciplines.
The Editor-in-Chief provides academic leadership, oversees the journal's editorial direction, and has primary responsibility for editorial decisions and the overall quality and integrity of published content.
Editorial decisions are based on the originality, academic significance, methodological soundness, relevance to the journal's aims and scope, and overall quality of submitted manuscripts.
The editorial team is responsible for:
- Conducting appropriate initial editorial assessments of submitted manuscripts;
- Ensuring fair, consistent, and timely editorial handling;
- Selecting qualified and independent reviewers;
- Overseeing the peer review process and making editorial recommendations or decisions within their assigned responsibilities;
- Monitoring compliance with publication ethics and research integrity standards;
- Maintaining the academic quality of the journal's published content.
Editorial Board members may contribute to the development of editorial policies, recommend qualified reviewers, provide academic advice, evaluate manuscripts when appropriate, and support the journal's scholarly development.
Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are made independently of the publisher's commercial, financial, institutional, or other non-editorial interests. The publisher provides publishing and administrative support but does not interfere with the academic assessment or editorial decisions concerning individual manuscripts.
Manuscripts are evaluated solely on their academic merit and compliance with the journal's editorial policies and ethical standards. Acceptance is never guaranteed on the basis of an author's academic position, institutional affiliation, nationality, relationship with the publisher, or willingness to pay publication charges.
The journal regularly reviews its editorial policies and practices to ensure transparency, fairness, and alignment with internationally recognized standards of scholarly publishing.
